EXPORT, PA -- AMI DODUCO, a unit of Technitrol (NYSE: TNL), has acquired a tool and die design and manufacturing operation near Tallinn, Estonia, from AMP, a part of Tyco Electronics Corporation.

The operation adds significant proprietary toolmaking capabilities needed to offer customers innovative solutions for highly engineered stamped contact parts and components. In addition, it will support the expansion of our electrical contact manufacturing in Eastern Europe.”
