At this year’s O & S trade fair to be held from 8 – 10 June in Stuttgart, AMI DODUCO will present its entire range of new and proven products and processes as well as its new strategy for surface coating technology. In this connection, the new brochure, “The whole world of coating technology” is being issued. This shows the company’s comprehensive expertise in precious metal coatings and its new strategies as a development partner for a wide range of industries.
For many years, the company has been active in R & D in the area of precious metal coatings, which has earned the company numerous patents and given rise to many innovative products. On the basis of this expertise, the company is well positioned as a development partner for precious metal coating technologies. “We seek to enter into a partnership with our customers at the earliest possible stage of product development, in order to work together to find the best solution from the point of view of technology and cost-effectiveness. Our professional project management is directed towards finding a coating system which meets all the customer’s requirements in terms of product, workability and environmental compatibility,” is how Ulrich Blendl, Head of the Surface Coating Division of AMI DODUCO, explains the new strategy.
AMI DODUCO offers a virtually unique variety of coating systems for technical components, strips, circuit boards, ceramic substrates, special coatings in special materials and PVD coating as an ideal supplement to the usual chemical and electroplating processes. Coating and plating services are based on the electroplating products the company has developed itself and which are sold worldwide.
With the new DODUBOND® Ni/Pd/Au process technology, which has been specially developed for the bonding of gold wire and which is available in three different types, AMI DODUCO now offers manufacturers of PCBs and ceramic substrates a universal final surface for all applications.
CONTAMET® 960, the new chemical nickel bath was specially developed for the coating of aluminum, aluminum alloys and AlSiC. This hypophosphite-based, lead-free solution deposits even, medium bright layers. The deposited layers have an average phosphor content of 6%. The bath is characterized by an extremely high resistance to zinc. It is the ideal basis for high-quality, cost-effective nickel plating.
