Export, PA - AMI DODUCO, Inc. announced today that it will implement a general increase in its prices of as much as 20% effective July 1, 2008.
Marc Turpin, Chief Operating Officer, noted, "Our price adjustment is necessary and unavoidable due to significant and widely publicized increases in the cost of energy, labor, shipping and other manufacturing costs. These inputs have increased anywhere from 24% to more than 200% over the last few years.” Turpin said that historically, AMI DODUCO has absorbed the year-over-year increases to preserve various customer partnerships; however, these cost pressures have reached a point at which they can no longer be offset by AMI DODUCO’s ongoing productivity programs.
AMI DODUCO remains committed to its customers and to supporting the diverse needs for electrical contacts, materials and components in the markets it serves. It also believes that ongoing support from its OEM partnerships will drive the continuous improvements and responsive service that customers demand.
