EXPORT, Pennsylvania – AMI DODUCO, a Technitrol (NYSE: TNL) Company, announced today that it would increase prices for its electrical contacts and thermostatic bimetal products sold in the Americas due to rising costs of raw materials, energy and other consumables, as well as the imposition of surcharges by AMI DODUCO’s primary metal suppliers. Fabrication prices will be increased by 4.5% to 7.5%, depending upon product type, for orders placed after January 31, 2005 unless contractually prevented from doing so.
